Mick B. Harrison
Mick B. Harrison says his work is influenced by NC Wyeth, and it shows. There
is a familiar washed-out look that still, amazingly, evokes the real feeling
of being at the scene of his work. Shadows and reflections tell the story of
being somewhere Up North. Mick has won the Wm. F. Cody Award for Art has been
acknowledged as Artist of the Year South Dakota Hall of Fame.
Artifact Replicas
First thing: this site has some very cool stuff, much of which you will see
if you ever visit us at our brick-and-mortar store. I'm
talking about hand-made bows & arrows and dream catchers, all from genuine
and rare materials. That said, I'd really prefer websites do not throw pop-under
ads at you, especially when it's advertising something as sinister sounding
as "viral marketing". Also would prefer to see a About Us page.
Great Trading Path
Nice. It's clear from the start that this is a trader of American Indian goods
that is respect- and honor-bound by original traditions. There's more going
on here than just a site trying to sell you stuff. Their Daily Bulletin page
is intended as a web log, and it is written in the first person, but who is
this person? No About Me page on this site.
Sedona Arts Center
You just gotta believe that any arts center located in Sedona, Arizona is a
good one. If you can afford to hang in Sedona for a five day workshop with a
visiting artist, you probably don't need me to read my critique. Sedona Arts
Center is 85 miles from us here at Gold Mountain Mining
Company.
